Capital - Our capital is held by private investors, and we are free of any ties to Financial Institutions, who come to us to enjoy and benefit from our unconflicted, transparent advice. Indeed, we have no involvement on neither primary nor secondary capital markets.

Credo - We launched the company in 2000. The managers and shareholders had the conviction that the Internet bubble would revolution the financial world, and open up to a new era for research and brokerage activities. Independent research boutiques had to come of force, and technical analysis was to expand in Europe, where it remains much under-used compared to the USA.

Independence - DBD is involved in promoting independent research. We are members of the European Association for Independent Research, and contributed to the AMF report headed by Mr. Demandolx on “Unbundling”. IT - DBD invests heavily on proprietary IT tools. We developed our own charting software. This allows us to update our views much faster than any other bureau. We store all our analysis in databases and are able to retrieve any in a wink, according to market action, or to any set of criteria. We build our own dynamic websites, and quickly adapt them to customer requirements.

Coverage - Of course, we have a Global index, interest rates and currencies coverage. We pride ourselves on the widest Pan-European Equity coverage, humanly analysed. With about 400 stocks covered in Europe, 100 in the USA, 150 in Asia, we are able to help you make an informed decision on any European large and mid-caps.

Behavioural Finance - Our methodology is based on technical and consensus analysis. At any time, prices convey all the information available on a market. We believe that a careful study of price history, concentrated on major articulation levels, and reinforced by volume and consensus analysis, leads to regular proper understanding of trends.

Leadership - Successful investment on capital markets has always been difficult, and will always be. With insight, it feels that “it was easier a decade ago”. In our opinion, all knowledge, all tricks, quickly spread around the planet. Once they become common, they are useless to make money.
